Report a problem
If something on this site is wrong, identifies someone, or should not be here, tell us and a person will read it.
The fastest route
Every review has a Report link beneath it. That puts it straight into the moderation queue with the review attached, which is quicker than email and means nothing gets lost.
If you are the landlord or manage the building
You have three options, and they are not mutually exclusive:
- Reply publicly. Claim the company profile and respond to any review. Your reply appears directly under it. In our experience this settles most disputes, and readers weigh a reasonable reply heavily.
- Report a specific factual error. Tell us which statement is untrue and why. “The review says we never fixed the heating; here is the repair invoice dated that week” is something we can act on. “This review is unfair” is not.
- Raise a legal complaint if you believe content is defamatory. See below.
Legal complaints
Include all of the following, or we will have to come back to you:
- the exact page address,
- the specific words you say are untrue — quoted, not summarised,
- why they are untrue, and any evidence you can share,
- who you are and what your relationship to the property is.
We aim to respond within 48 hours and will tell you what we decided either way. While we look into a specific factual complaint we may temporarily hide the content in question.
What we will not do
- Remove a review because it is negative.
- Remove a review because it is disputed, where it reads as the reviewer's own experience and opinion.
- Tell you who wrote a review. Reviewers are pseudonymous and we do not disclose identities except where the law compels us to, in which case we will notify the person first unless we are prohibited from doing so.
If you wrote the review
You can edit or delete your own review at any time from your account. Deleting your account removes your identity but leaves your reviews in place, unattributed — see the privacy page for why.
How to reach us
Set this before launch. A monitored contact address needs to go here, and it must reach a real person within the 48 hours promised above. Until then, the in-page report links are the only working route.
